Sunday May 25th the Hot Wheels RC club in Deventer hosted the 2nd round of this year's Dutch National Championship. Jilles Groskamp, after having won the first round, was unable to attend as he was racing in the Reedy Invitational in California that same weekend.
But Jilles' father Frank had an excellent time running his T1R. Not only that, but he even managed to win (!) the stock class eventhough his handout motor did not appear to have the same speed as the other top-drivers.
In the modified class Tony Vredenberg finished 2nd.
So despite Jilles' absence, XRay showed once again that it is truly the car to beat. 4 cars in the top 10 of which 2 in the top 3!
